Awww.... I'm a little frustrated with myself for not starting something like this earlier. When I was in high-school I kept an on-again off-again journal, but when I hit my 20s, got married, and got busy,... I stopped. Then when I thought about starting a blog or journal, I felt like it was too late to get going... Whatever, better late than never, right? Plus, it took my 20s for me to get to a place where I could and would start journaling, so... here goes!
Today has been chill. We slept in, ate some breakfast, took a nap, did some light reading, and basically enjoyed Sunday. I finished a Songs of Love and am getting ready to start working on a background electronic track for Vision Movies. Had fun chillin' with Val and Chris yesterday. We played some games, cooked out, and hung out until 2-in-the-morningish.
So I noticed something this morning while reading the first book in The Liveship Traders series. The Fool is actually Amber. It only took a minute for me to figure it out, but I had no idea that Hobb was going to put him in the book! That's sweet.
Also, I'm keeping an eye on the wood floor behind the sink. It definitely looks a little damp! Bummer if we have to fix some plumbing in the concrete, but that's the worse-case scenario. It could just be condensation buildup in which case keeping it aired out will help keep it dry.
Okay, what randomness, but I just woke up from a nap and I'm allowed!
